Mangas [FANSERVICE TIME 8D]

I had to wait for months before I can get continuous manga updates. I had to stop for a while just for them to at least upload five and then I’ll be free to read loads. I lost track of how many months I had neglected manga reading but at least it paid off a bit.

Not only did they have the heart to update about 5 or so chapters, the mangakas just felt the need to add fanservice 8D. Yes, it was a rather minor thing but we fangirls can rant all the long about even the smallest fanservice.

Oh beloved mangakas! We need more of this in the future!

Now don’t get me wrong here. I am a firm believer that heterosexual relationships work better than homosexual relationships…in real life, that is. Who has the right to say that fiction, that is to say mangas, can’t defy reality?

In case you don’t know, fanservice is a thing that mangakas do to their fans…to induce nosebleeds and kill fangirls. The good thing is, after they kill us  fangirls, we don’t need to fear if we go to hell or heaven! After we die of blood loss, we immediately take off to fangirl land, which is heaven.

Fanservice is when a mangaka gives hints,meaning  moment together, with two slash-able characters. (If you don’t know what slash means…you’re doomed) Making a fanservice is easy. Mangakas just have to make the two characters appear in the same page and talk. Leave the dirty work to the fangirls.

We fangirls have complex minds and we can twist the words and actions to come up with something deeper.

Do I have to explain the epic-ness of this manga? Haven’t you ever wondered why it’s a must for fangirls to have read Ouran…or watched it?

I stopped reading on the chapter where the old grandma hag finally decided to let Tamaki in the main house and stopped in the part where the same old grandma hag wanted Tamaki to quit the host club.

Lately, I’ve had this growing and powerful urge to strangle a certain someone. Really, I thought only heroines with annoying tsundere characters can do this! (No. I don’t hate tsundere. But some mangakas just need some work on their so-called tsundere characters)

How is it possible that an old person can be so annoying?! Seriously, I think she’s about to die and yet she lives her life by turning others’ lives into pure hell. She needs to go to her happy place and have some wild sex with someone she really loves. I have this feeling that she married Tamaki’s grandfather only because of money. Stupid old, power-hungry hag. If the mangaka does us a favor and gives that old hag a heart attack and make Tamaki rejoice and all the maids sigh in relief, then I will hail the mangaka as the picture of awesomeness.

The frustration of having to deal with this anger towards that hag aside, it was a really great read. Honestly, I thought I was reading 5 chapters and it turned out I was just reading two. I mean, what the BUCK is that? If one chapter can be equal to 5 chapters and I’m still not satisfied…what will the whole finished manga be? Oooh…Ecstasy.

Oh Kyouya…Why do you have to be so hot in everything you do? After seeing this page I felt even more inclined to read the updates. Oh, Kyouya, be mine! [/cacklesgleefully]

What really made this page bad is the lack of Kaoru. I mean, Kaoru said that he came two hours early. He stayed in the guest room for a few minutes and then proceeded to Kyouya’s room because his brother, Akito, was there.

In that case, Kaoru should have been reading in Kyouya’s bed at this time! Please don’t tell me that my logic is flawed. I won’t hear any of it.

What exactly is the need of a Kaoru in Kyouya’s bed in this page? One word: Fanservice. After this page, Kyouya wasn’t the next man to be shown but Tamaki and his obsessive worrying about the kiss. That means, if it was shown that Kaoru was there, it would have given the fangirls time to think up of crazy things. [/sighs] But this would be good too…At least I can enjoy my Kyouya alone.

I think the whole ‘Ohmygash! I just kissed Tamaki-senpai/Haruhi’ fuss is kinda…too much used in some other Shoujo mangas. I know, I know. It’s some element that is needed for the atmosphere and the like. But seriously, can’t any mangaka out there make some difference? Not that I know what kind of difference I want, anything but this.

At least they still talked normally the next day. Which made up for the kissing fuss. I really don’t fancy heroines who go all ‘don’t talk to me -blsuh-blsuh-’ after seeing the one they love accidentally kissing them. Sure, Haruhi did that at first but she recovered. Which is why I don’t hate Haruhi as much as I hate uhm…some other heroine.

Seriously, if this keeps happening in the manga, I’m going to trade my Mommy/Daddy fangirl side for a Kyouya/Kaoru love. Kyouya, I hereby declare you as the master of slash. 8D

Fangirl or not, I’m sure your eyes lit up in this page. Maybe, if not of ecstasy then of weirdness. But you just have to admit it, your head screamed fanservice. 8D

And look at Kyouya’s reaction in the end. Hahahahahahaha! I could LOL all day long if it wasn’t immoral or annoying.

I never really like the twins. Maybe at one point I started adoring them, but it was superficial. It didn’t last long. Maybe it has something to do with Hikaru falling for Haruhi.

I have this belief that twins should be together no matter what they do. That when it comes to choosing between something and the twin, the other twin will have to choose his twin. Something like a Fred and George relationship.

Somehow, it wasn’t shown in Hikaru and Kaoru. Kaoru chose Hikaru over Haruhi but Hikaru chose Haruhi over Kaoru. That annoyed me somehow. I never became a fan of Hikaru/Kaoru since then. But if it means that Kaoru have to be paired up with Kyouya instead, maybe I can consent to that.

I just have to read more fanfics about this two and then poof! I might even stop my mommy/daddy obsession. :)

Bisco is doing some really serious work for the fangirls right now. Personally, I think she’s doing it great. Right on track!

The getting half-naked in front of the uke is very clever. Not that it’s not show in some other mangas but, c’mon, this is Ouran we are talking about! Everything is spelled sexy 8D

What really makes this relationship work is because both of them are sensible. Out of the twins, Kaoru is actually smarter than Hikaru. Only because Hikaru spends so much time being aggressive.

And it’s no question that Kyouya is the smartest among all the host club members. Smart/Smart= instant smex 8D

Not that Tamaki isn’t smart in the first place. Of course, he is probably smarter than Kaoru in some ways but really, such an idiot he is sometimes. I’m still arguing whether Kyouya/Tamaki works better than Kaoru/Kyouya or not. Tamaki can handle Kyouya’s dark side. Kaoru cannot…but he can have some sensible talk with the shadow king without the suspense of turning into an idiot anytime.

I just have to ship both slash pairs. Which is hard. My loyalty only lies for one. So in the end, it’s up to time to decide. But for now let’s indulge in more fanservice. 8D

Hikaru worried brother mode

To take a rest from the usual fanservice that I am serving you, let’s go forward to what Hikaru felt about Kaoru leaving early.

Apparently, he is worried and pissed that Kaoru had some more important matters to attend to rather than talking to him all day. This actually made me satisfied.

Hikaru just had to feel how Kaoru felt when he chose Haruhi over him. And aside from that, it actually shows the brotherly love I have been wanting to see.

Ooh, Hikaru…if you weren’t so in love with Haruhi, I would have given you more justice. But really, Kaoru is having some really good time with Kyouya. Why should anyone interfere?

Lately, Hikaru have been asking Mitsukuni and Takashi for advices. Not really surprising since they are the older people in the host club but doesn’t that give you some wild ideas?

It’s like a young teen asking a couple of years about love! Not that I am  a fan of Mitsukuni/Takashi pair. I just feel like there’s something fishy about this. Maybe it has something to do with me reading somewhere about twins asking help from a couple and stuff. It’s hard to explain, really…but I just get some really dirty ideas about this. 8D

His voice alone is causing me nosebleed! And that’s saying something since the only character that has ever done that to me before was Snapey-poo.

I’m not exactly a big fan of Takashi but his voice is just pure awesomeness. I can listen to it all day long and get some dirty ideas.

That aside, somehow, the ‘big brother’ comment from Hikaru interested me.

He has never been a big brother before. Yes, he is but he just doesn’t do anything to make me think of him as more sensible. More like he is the one who is acting like a younger brother.

Kaoru is a bit more mature than him and helps him in his love problems with Haruhi. Kaoru is mature and doesn’t get all aggressive always. And he knows just the right person to ask help to 8D

Some big revelation

I’m glad that Hatori Bisco finally pointed out this fact. I’ve been thinking lately that, other than Tamaki, Kyouya is the one who will do anything for the club. Even if he does this in his own ways, I still think he cares more than anyone.

The other members just do their work. But they don’t do extra work just for the sake of the club. Maybe Kyouya’s reasons at first for doing this is to enhance his skills in financing and stuff, but as he stayed longer in the club, I am sure he found some bigger reason than just that.

Not that the host club will be better if Kyouya was leading it. You see, Tamaki has some wild ideas to make the girls swoon. And Kyouya has the financing and serious stuff abilities. The host club won’t work if one of them is gone.

Which brings us back to the main issue of Tamaki’s grandma being a stupid beetch and wanting Tamaki to quit the host club. How stupid can she get? I have read in somewhere in another book that:

the problem with goals is when you reach it, what will you do?

And it seems to me that Tamaki’s grandma just wants the company to grow more. That’s their goal. But seriously, if she is smart, she should have known that a depressed person, meaning a person without his peers around, don’t work well. You need some sort of motivation. And not the ‘work hard, you idiot’ kind of motivation. The friendship-that-keeps-you-going-through kind.

Sheesh. If the old hag just dies, I wouldn’t be explaining bothersome things right now.

He is so tall and lean and hot. If I could just find a man like him, I could handle the world better. haha!

Anyway, to the serious matters at hand.

Anyway, stupid Tamaki…Getting all worked up about the whole main mansion issue.

I know he must have felt accomplished after being allowed entrance but really..he should have known better.

The old hag is too power-hungry. She is dying soon without someone to train Tamaki. Of course she has to be brutal and all those crap. Damn it..I’m sure you can figure that out yourself.

But really, Tamaki, get some sense! Ignore that beetch and go on with the way you want your life to go.

This wore me out. I was originally planning on going through 3 mangas in one post. The fanservice made me talk too much though.
